I found this place as I was dreamily looking at apartments today. It's a tiny little no-bedroom studio on the east side of Portland, not too far from the river. It's (not too far, but far enough) out of my current price range (unless someone hires me and pays me a lot of money, like, right now), but golly, Moses. Ain't she pretty.
So this is love.

I agree with Kim. Not that neighboring states is the worst possible scenario. It doesn't help, though, that I'm in the northern part of one and you're in the southern part of the other. Or that yours happens to be California. Isn't there something in the constitution against making states that long?
Oh, and the apartment? Lovely. I think I'll go look at it.
